Soulja Boy accused of kidnapping a woman at his California home

The rapper's manager has since issued a statement.

Weeks after completing an impressive and now-iconic press run, Soulja Boy has found himself in hot water.

According to TMZ, a woman reported to police that she had been kidnapped by the rapper this past Friday (Feb. 1), alleging that Soulja's assistant prevented her from living his Los Angeles area home after she had tried to leave in her car.

As reported, after an argument broke out between the woman, named Kayla, and Soulja's assistant; the rapper came out of the Agoura Hills home to see what was going on. After his attempt to break up the fight was unsuccessful, Kayla claims the rapper punched her and kicked her. Then, he allegedly took her inside the garage where he tied her up with an extension cord.

Sources say she was tied up for six hours before she was able to seek treatment at a local hospital and notify authorities. Soulja's alleged victim claims she has three fractured ribs, as well as suffered a concussion.

Law enforcement refused to confirm details of the police report, but did acknowledge that someone had in fact filed a kidnapping report early Saturday (Feb. 2) morning.

Soulja's manager spoke on the accusations with TMZ by asserting that the claims are false because his client "always calls me if there's any problem and he did not call."

The rapper is currently on a five-year probation sentence for a weapons conviction and is not allowed to threaten anyone nor possess a weapon. At the time of this report, Soulja has not yet issued a statement commenting on the matter.

Recently, Casanova confronted Soulja after an incident broke out where Soulja allegedly disrespected a woman at the Sirius XM offices in New York City. The two talked it out and Soulja appeared to take the situation as a learning moment.

In addition to finding himself at the center of such serious allegations, Soulja also made an appearance on Nicki Minaj's "Queen" radio show on Apple Music's Beats 1 over the weekend.

During their conversation, Minaj references Soulja's iconic appearance on the "Breakfast Club," during which she gives the rapper props for demanding that he receive respect for his contributions to the rap game. Minaj also released new music and confirmed her fifth studio album is finished.
