Pete Davidson kicks out heckler for making inappropriate Mac Miller comment

The comedian isn't entertaining jokes about the late rapper.

Pete Davidson has been through a lot in his personal life recently.

As the world at large began adjusting to life without Mac Miller, the comedian's engagement with Ariana Grande, who was previously romantically involved with the late rapper, came to an end.

However, while the comedian has made jokes about his personal life throughout his entire career, a recent comedy show reminded fans that some topics are simply off limits.

During a performance at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in New Jersey on Monday night (Feb. 25), the "SNL" cast member began a joke by stating, "My friend died in my apartment."

The bit was promptly interrupted by a member of the crowd who yelled out Mac Miller's name in response.

As exemplified in audio captured by TMZ, the comedian was not tolerant of such a comment, calling on the audience to identity who made the inappropriate remark so he could kick the person out.

"Who's that guy? We're getting him out," Davidson asked in response to the heckling. "I will not continue until that kid is gone. Find him. I'll leave."

He then called for security to remove the "f--kface" who made the comment so he could continue on with his set. Once the person who made the remark was identified and removed from the premises, Davidson resumed his stand-up routine. He also made a point to give the heckler his money back for admission, as Davidson said he didn't want it.

As previously reported, Miller died of an accidental drug overdose back in September 2018. Grande and Davidson split shortly thereafter, leading fans to speculate that the rapper's death was the ultimate cause for why they chose to call off their engagement.

Considering what Davidson has gone through, such as working on his own mental health and warding off cyber-bullying as a result of the aforementioned break-up, it's great to see him respecting Miller's legacy.
