YBN Almighty Jay is being investigated for felony theft, according to TMZ.

On Thursday (Feb. 14), the 19-year-old rapper was filming videos in Chatsworth, CA with another artist when he allegedly stole a $40k chain, $20k Rolex, and $20k in cash from New Jersey rapper Skinnyfromthe9. The rappers were reportedly using Skinnyfromthe9’s cash and jewelry as props for social media skits before the robbery took place.

Almighty Jay and Skinnyfromthe9 were working on music together just days before the theft and the rapper reportedly slept at Skinnyfromthe9’s home during their recording sessions.

TMZ obtained surveillance footage from the incident which shows two men approaching Skinnyfromthe9 in his Range Rover. The men engage in a tussle with the rapper and dash from the vehicle shortly after with the goods. Officials are now listing Almighty Jay as one of the suspects in the alleged crime which is considered a felony of grand theft.

Although neither party has addressed the recent reports of theft, the investigation remains ongoing. No charges have been filed against Almighty Jay as of yet.
