The year 2019 was stacked with great music from some of today’s rising stars, as well as artists who’ve been in the game for a hot minute. Everyone in the music industry seemed to bring their A-game more than ever before – possibly because they wanted to end the year and the decade with a bang. Can you blame them?

From rappers to singers, stars touched the booth and delivered music that was either trendy for the times or will last a lifetime. From happy, sad, reminiscent, nostalgic, or in the love; songs that dropped this year made us feel all types of emotions, and we were truly grateful for each experience these tracks took our hearts and minds to.

Here at REVOLT TV, a selected amount of employees wanted to share what songs they couldn’t stop listening to in 2019. Of course, these are all of the hottest songs that blessed our ears in these last 12 months — there are way too many to count!

Instead, this list just shows our personal favorite hits that we kept on repeat. Check them out below.

“EARFQUAKE” by Tyler, The Creator

Tyler just keeps getting better and better in the studio. - Travis Del Valle AKA Trigga Happy Tray AKA TrayDawg

“Gold Roses” by Rick Ross featuring Drake

When Ross and Drake come together, it’s a banger. Name a time it hasn’t been. - Travis Del Valle AKA Trigga Happy Tray AKA TrayDawg

“Racks In The Middle” by Nipsey Hussle featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy

Neighborhood Nip left us too soon, but at least he linked with Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy for one of the best songs of the year. - Travis Del Valle AKA Trigga Happy Tray AKA TrayDawg

“Suge” by DaBaby

The energy that this song possessed was infectious, and literally was a whole mood for 2019. Perfect Boss-Up anthem! - Dante Smith AKA Get Money Tay AKA Charles If The Feds Ask

“Different” by Burna Boy featuring Damian Marley and Angelique Kidjo

The reggae influence on this record is superb. Very nostalgic in the sound, and Damian Marley and Angelique just add the secret sauce to it to take it up a notch! - Dante Smith AKA Get Money Tay AKA Charles If The Feds Ask

“Loyal” by Ceraadi

I’m feeling all the ladies of Hip Hop right now, but this smooth and sexy flow is everything! The video is a straight vibe that takes me back to the 90s from the fits and vocals to the gentle beat drop, and dance sequences. The block party kickback makes me smile. - Robyn Lattaker-Johnson AKA RLJ Keeps It Real AKA Don’t Start None Won’t Be None

“Shea Butter Baby” by Ari Lennox featuring J. Cole

Ari Lennox doesn’t get the credit she deserves. Her voice is amazing and the addition of Cole makes this song super sexy and a WHOLE VIBE. - Cherisse McKenzie AKA Risse AKA A Queen from Queens

“Hair Down” by SiR featuring Kendrick Lamar

Inglewood SIR and Kendrick helped close the summer out right with this banger. It’s so Cali — all you envision is palm trees and your hair blowing in the wind - Cherisse McKenzie AKA Risse AKA A Queen from Queens

“Cash Shit” featuring DaBaby

Megan Thee Stallion nor DaBaby can do any wrong. And when they joined forces for this track, I already knew it was going to be one of the hottest songs the year. From the bars, their flows and lyrics, they were both in their bag with this one. - Isha Thorpe AKA SEO Queen AKA Passionate Pisces AKA Brooklyn’s Finest AKA Beauty And A Beast

“Boasty” by Wiley, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul featuring Idris Elba

I love Idris Elba. I love Stefflon Don. I love Sean Paul. I love reggae. I’m Caribbean. What do you expect? - Isha Thorpe AKA SEO Queen AKA Passionate Pisces AKA Brooklyn’s Finest AKA Beauty And A Beast

“Thot Box (Remix)” by Hitmaka featuring Young MA, Dreezy, Dream Doll, Mulatto, and Chinese Kitty

I’m always here for women spitting bars. This remix is actually a billion times better than the original, which has all men. Women, we do it better. - Isha Thorpe AKA SEO Queen AKA Passionate Pisces AKA Brooklyn’s Finest AKA Beauty And A Beast
