“Free JT! Real bitches fuck with me!” Megan Thee Stallion rapped on “Realer.” And finally it happened! Yung Miami, as well as Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas, took to social media on Tuesday (Oct. 8) to announce that City Girls’ JT is finally home from prison.

“YOU BITCHES IN TROUBLE!! MY BITCH HOME!” Miami posted on her Instagram with artwork of a brand new single that JT will be dropping tonight in celebration of her release. The track is fittingly called “First Day Out” and will arrive on all streaming services at 10:00 p.m. ET. The CEO simply posted a video of the rapper rocking major iced-out bling — that can blind a person with 20/20 vision who looked at them too close — on his IG with the caption, “#NewBeginnings.”

Since news of this announcement, a number of celebrities have voiced their excitement about JT’s long-awaited freedom. From T.I., YFN Lucci, Lil Keed, Dreezy, India Love and so much, the hip hop community is more than happy to have the young star back on the scene — and eager to hear just where she left off before she went into the pen.

In summer of 2018, JT began a 24-month sentence after being found guilty of credit card fraud. At the time, Yung Miami told Rolling Stone, “It’s a minor setback for a major comeback because it’s a movement. Everybody know JT now. When she come back, everyone will be paying attention. When she get out, she gon’ be big. God brought us this far.”

JT was initially supposed to be released in March 2020. However, P revealed that she was coming home sooner than a lot of people thought in an August red carpet interview. His exact words were “within the next 90 days.”

Welcome home, JT. The game missed you!
