6ix9ine is ready to receive his prison sentence.
According to The Blast, following the rapper’s recent three-day testimony, he has asked the judge in his criminal case to expedite his sentencing so he can begin his prison sentence. His lawyers sent a letter to the court requesting that the process be sped up so he can find out his fate. The letter reads, “The parties respectfully write to request that a presentence investigation report be ordered and that a sentencing date be scheduled for Mr. Hernandez.”
“Counsel for Mr. Hernandez respectfully requests that sentencing be scheduled on an expedited basis. The government does not object to this request. In order to facilitate the request for expedited sentencing, the parties waive the 35-day notice requirement pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P.,” the letter continues.
6ix9ine is facing a minimum of 47 years in prison, but as previously reported, his sentence can be drastically reduced due to his cooperation with the feds. According to Yahoo, Prosecutors can now ask the judge to lower the sentenced based on his performance on the stand.
Sources close to the case said that the sentencing will most likely be in January. However, 6ix9ine is pushing for his sentencing date to be as soon as possible.
In other 6ix9ine-related news, the rapper has decided against entering a witness protection program once he is released from prison. Instead, 6ix9ine will return to his celebrity life and will hire 24-hour security using the money he had before he was arrested.
The rapper will also have to heighten security for his family, who fears for their safety due to his cooperation with prosecutors.
6ix9ine testified in court against former Nine Trey Bloods associates Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, who were recently found guilty on charges of racketeering conspiracy. Ellison was also convicted of kidnapping 6ix9ine.
