A release date for Kanye West’s Jesus Is King album may have been announced. According to Complex, during ‘Ye’s album listening event at George Washington University on Saturday (Oct. 12), he reportedly told fans that the highly anticipated album would arrive later this month. Several attendees said that Kanye confirmed that Jesus Is King will be released on Oct. 25.

One person, who attended the event, took to Twitter and shared a few details from the album listening. “‘Jesus Is King’ sounds amazing! Kanye said the album is TENTATIVELY dropping on October 25. As of yesterday, he was still working on new music, which sounds amazing. The IMAX film was very moving. He also read us scriptures,” the fan wrote. “Mark 1:15 is his favorite scripture.”

Complex also reports that Kanye’s IMAX film, Jesus Is King, is still expected to arrive on Oct. 25. It will be showing in theaters until Oct. 31.

On another note, Kanye performed his weekly Sunday Service during Howard University’s Homecoming yesterday (Oct. 12). We previously reported that the rapper held the semi-surprise service, which was announced the night before and had sold out by 8 a.m. the next morning. The event took place on the yard of the campus’ quad-area. Singer Tony Williams, who is also Kanye’s cousin, commandeered the mic during the service, while also conducting the choir. Kim Kardashian was also on hand, along with the couple’s children North and Saint West. Terrence J and Pusha T were present as well.

Gregg Carr, the chair of the Howard University Department of Afro-American Studies confirmed Kanye’s appearance on the historical Black campus Saturday morning (Oct. 12). Carr tweeted, “If @kanyewest is indeed at #HowardU this morning, send him to the third floor of the Founder’s Library after he’s done. I have some books for him.”
