Meek Mill marks emphatic return at Rolling Loud Miami

DJ Khaled welcomed the Philly rapper for his first comeback performance.

"Miami, you thought I was done, huh," a proud DJ Khaled told the Rolling Loud crowd earlier tonight (May 12). The Miami native had something special up his sleeve.

Following a hit-laden set, which also came with a surprise appearance from REVOLT's own Chairman Sean "Diddy" Combs ("Puff Daddy supports everybody," Khaled praised), the walking hip-hop megaphone wasn't done. "Before I left this stage earlier I let you know, this night is a legendary night," he bellowed. "Some peoples have dreams, some people have nightmares. Some people just have to go through a lot of shit, but the key is to overcome." At that point, the crowd got the drift and the Hard Rock Stadium was suddenly flooded with "Meek Mill, Meek Mill!" chants.

Marking his live performance debut (and 18th day out), Meek Mill made his emphatic return. "It feel good to be back and free in front of the people," he exclaimed. Wasting almost no time, the Philly rapper jumped into high-octane favorites "On the Regular," "Glow Up" and "I'ma Boss." Throughout his 45-minute set, he pulled a bulk of material from his criminally underrated 2016 album Wins & Losses, entertaining the crowd with "We Ball," "1942 Flows" and "Issues."

Rising Atlanta upstart Gunna joined him for the street favorite "Oh Okay," while Tory Lanez assisted in raising the energy for "Litty." To close out his set, Meek brought the crowd to its climax, performing "Dreams and Nightmare."
