Rolling Loud Miami 2018 is officially underway and Rico Nasty just took the Audiomack stage as the first female performer of the three-day fest.

Wearing her hair in rock-approved liberty spikes and a pair of white overalls as decorated as her own tattooed arms, Rico kicked off with “Key Lime O.G.” backed by DJ Miles. She then delivered “Trust Issues,” pausing briefly to take a sip of water, unafraid to deny to the crowd the threatening kind of heat that comes with performing mid-May in Miami: “I know y’all hot!”

“Hit That” and “Smack a Bitch” followed, with Rico carefully and menacingly accentuating the latter’s lyrics: “Do what I fucking want / You such a fucking chump!” Equally charming as she is intimidating though, she performed the comparably bouncy “Hey Arnold” after “Party Going Dumb.” And though “Poppin” was first delivered a cappella, “This ain’t no motherfucking playground!” was the only urgent reminder her rivals would need.

“Y’all want to hear some new shit? This my last song!” Rico told the crowd. “Where’s the moshpit?” she demanded and closed her rock-rap hybrid set headbanding to “Rage.”
