Donald Glover set to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ and perform as Childish Gambino

The multi-talented artist has been double booked.

Saturday Night Live's latest announcement is almost too good to be true, revealing that Donald Glover has been booked both to host and perform as Childish Gambino.

The upcoming episode, which was announced during last night's episode (April 14) and is set to air on May 5, marks the first time Glover will appear on the famed show in either capacity.

And Nicki Minaj says her next album will be "classic hip-hop."

An elite group of artists have fulfilled both hosting and performing duties in the past, including Drake, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and more, with Donald Glover/Childish Gambino the latest to receive such an honor.

As fans can recall, long before creating Atlanta and winning a Grammy, Glover worked for NBC, writing for Tina Fey's 30 Rock and starring in Dan Harmon's Community. His return to the network's long-running program is sure to be an unforgettable night of television.

In the words of SNL, mark your calendars!
