Bow Wow returned to The Breakfast Club this morning (April 12). The rapper, actor and host, who is often trending for the wrong reasons, spoke to Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee about everything from his tweets on suicide to his time signed to Death Row, as well as his relationships with Chris Brown and Jermaine Dupri, and more.

On being signed to Death Row: When I got with Dogg, Dre and everybody started to part ways and Snoop was like the last to really leave. He just felt that me being at Death Row just wasn’t the right situation for a 7-year-old kid.

On being a member of Tha Dogg Pound: Yep. Look it up. You can look it up on YouTube.

On relationship with Chris Brown" I just think with me and Brown, we don’t even have a problem. There’s no problem but, like you said, we grew up together, made a lot of money together and throughout the game we grow and we end up going separate ways sometimes.

On saying he 'runs' Ohio: I’m like, y'all can have that. I haven’t lived in Ohio since I was ten. I’ve been in Atlanta my whole life. I don’t even sound like I’m from the city. Everything is Atlanta to me.

On the video of him getting punched backstage: Nah, I didn’t get knocked out. It was just a miscommunication. Real shit.

On suicidal thoughts: It was because that’s how I was really feeling. Yeah, there’s been times, even years before that, where people thought I was suicidal. I been said I don’t want to be here. People don’t understand that I’ve done lapped the world around eight times. Coming into the game so young and seeing so much and doing so much, sometimes I just question life, like, damn, what else is there for me to do?

On his first fall-out with Jermaine Dupri: It was creative differences. He wanted to go in one direction and I said, no, I wanted to go in this direction. And then I was like, ‘Man, fuck this. I can do this on my own. I don’t need you.’ I was like, Snoop found me, I learned from you, I soaked up all of the game from you.”
