While Juelz Santana reportedly had pleaded not guilty to state charges, the matter has since become one for the federal authorities to handle.

As reported by the Associated Press, the Feds will prosecute the drug and gun charges the veteran rapper is currently facing following an incident at Newark airport.

As previously reported, security personnel reported found a loaded .38-caliber handgun, as well as oxycodone pills, in his possession, resulting in the Dipset member fleeing the scene. He later turned himself in three days following the incident.

Juelz Santana is currently being held behind bars while he awaits future pending hearings.
