XXXTentacion earns his first-ever No. 1 album debut on Billboard 200

The Florida artist is putting numbers on the board.

XXXTentacion is putting numbers on the board.

As reported, his latest studio effort, ?, has debuted in the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200's album chart.

For the 10th anniversary of XXL's Freshman cover, the editorial staff digs into this year's class and the artists share insight on their big accomplishent.

The project, which was released through his own Bad Vibes Forever imprint and distributed by Caroline, has reportedly garnered 131,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 22, according to Nielsen Music. Additionally, of that number, 20,000 were via traditional album sales.

XXXTentacion made his first appearance on the Billboard charts last year, with his breakout single "Look at Me." His debut album, 17, also went on to peak at the No. 2 slot on the Billboard 200.

While he has earned another impressive career milestone, the 20-year-old Florida native is currently awaiting trial for a variety of felony charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness-tampering.

He was recently released from house arrest so that he may embark on a "lucrative touring opportunity" in order to stay afloat financially.
