Future previews new music in first trailer of "Superfly"

The remake of the 1972 film hits theaters this summer.

As reported earlier this year, Director X, known for directing music videos for everyone from Usher and Kanye West to JAY-Z, Justin Bieber, and Drake, will helm Sony's highly anticipated remake of the 1972 classic film Superfly. Joining the director, is Future, who is not only co-producing the film alongside Joel Silver ("Lethal Weapon," "The Matrix"), but also producing the original soundtrack.

In a teaser trailer for the film, fans will hear a taste of Fewtch's new batch of tunes, as well as a look into the high octane adventure starring Trevor Jackson (Blackish,Grownish) as Youngblood Priest, and Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton,The Chi) as a character named Eddie. Michael K. Williams, Big Boi, and Rick Ross are also attached to the film.

"Superfly" is slated to hit theaters this summer.
