NBA legend Chris Bosh, to DJs ahead of 2018 Global Spin Awards: "Keep going"

The Miami Heat champion applauds DJs for their hard work and integrity.

As a member of a championship Miami Heat team headed by NBA superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh knows a thing or two about doing the work beneath the surface. So when REVOLT TV caught up with him recently, the future Hall of Famer was quick to give DJs props ahead of the 2018 Global Spin Awards.

"I think it's dope for the DJs of the world to get some love too. They do so much," Bosh told REVOLT TV while in Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend 2018. "They help us have a good time, help us forget our problems. They prescribe us the music we need to hear. That's a huge responsibility."

The entertainment industry has many people who crave attention, Bosh added, but the DJs' job is important, even if they're largely in the shadows.

"Everybody wants to be cool and be the man, but think about that every time you put that record on," Bosh continued. "What are you saying?"

The Global Spin Awards air tonight, February 22 at 9 p.m. ET on REVOLT TV. Looking for the channel? Use our locator here!
