Offset is gearing up to complete the trifecta of solo albums released by Migos this year, with his project set to drop on Dec. 14. The rapper, whose persona remains elusive at times compared to others of his stature, recently opened up in a new profile with The New York Times, during which an absolute gem about his childhood was revealed.

During the interview, which was published Thursday (Nov. 29), Offset's mom reveals that her son was a child star who worked with one of the most incredible performers of all time: Whitney Houston.

In fact, prior to becoming the chart-topping rapper he is, the Georgia native got his start in entertainment as a dancer. One of his high profile gigs even includes dancing backup for none other than the legendary late icon.

The best part? There is visual proof. During the music video for Houston's "Whatchulookinat," the then-aspiring entertainer can be found among a group of young dancers, each donning suits and hats. Absolutely adorable.

To add to the delightful surprise of his mother unearthing this epic fun fact, the rapper also shared a throwback photo of him on set with the late singer.

Elsewhere during the new interview, Offset teases the possibility of releasing a collaborative album with his wife Cardi B as well as reveals that his debut solo album will be his most personal work to date.
