Gotta love a happy ending, especially when it comes to being able to side-step litigation in the process.

As reported today (Nov. 27), Dame Dash has settled the lawsuit he had filed against director Lee Daniels.

As it turns out, Dame previously lent the then-rising director $2 million to help finance the 2005 film, Shadowboxer, of which Daniels was a director and co-producer.

During a confrontation that took place earlier this summer—at a Diana Ross concert of all places—it became publicly revealed that the situation has not yet been resolved and Dame was still seeking repayment.

Months after footage of a brief but seemingly heated argument made its rounds online and Dame filed a $5 million lawsuit seeking lost profit and interest, TMZ is reporting the two have amicably settled outside of court and agreed to pay their own lawyer fees.

While it remains unknown how much money Daniels paid up, Dame revealed he is quite pleased that the two are now able to put this matter behind them.

"I'm good," Dame shared with TMZ. "Just happy two people from the culture could work things out."
