It’s been less than a week since Frank Ocean decided to make his Instagram account public and he’s already making great use of the social media platform.

While looking at his 300+ past uploads are quite insightful, with even his earliest posts from when the account was private racking up thousands of likes and comments, the multi-hyphenate artist decided to provide fans with some fresh content.

In a story posted earlier today (Nov. 19), the notoriously elusive artist casually uploaded an 8-second teaser of what could possibly be a forthcoming track. In the selfie-style video, Ocean covers most of his face with four tornado emojis as a quick snippet of what appears to be a hip hop-leaning song plays in the background.

While the upload arrived without context or additional details, it presumably is a sign that Ocean has some new heat on the way. He has otherwise had a relatively quiet year musically speaking, with his latest release appearing in the form of vocal contributions on Travis Scott’s Astroworld cut “Carousel.”

His most recent solo efforts, Endless and Blonde, arrived in 2016, with the former ending his contractual obligations with Def Jam. One thing is for certain: when it comes to new music from the multifaceted creative, fans are readddy.
