The glorious problem of being a multifaceted creative and/or successful business person is facing the constant challenge of how to prioritize your time, responsibilities and passion.
Rihanna is no exception to this and as exemplified by a recent Instagram post, she too is feeling the pressure that stems from the demands of her fans.
After making her debut at New York Fashion Week for her Savage x Fenty collection and heading over to Australia to continue her press run, Rihanna's achievements in the fashion world were quickly eclipsed by reporters and fans alike wanting to know when they can expect new music. After all, back in April, she did say she has something special in store "soon."
Taking to Instagram to express her thoughts on the matter, Rihanna shared an image of herself wiping sweat off her brow as fans eagerly crowd around her. The photo-turned-meme also includes the text, "When your fans keep asking you for new music."
Adding to the fun, Rihanna also added a caption, writing, "I feel attacked. ***valley girl who's never been attacked voice*** R9 chronicles." Yup, we stan a hilarious, relatable and hardworking queen.
While this may not be exactly the kind of update fans were looking for, it's nice to have a reminder that Rihanna, too, only has 24 hours in a day, and whether she is penning op-eds advocating for equal access to global education or starring in films like Ocean's 8, she will always find a way to make time for what she's passionate about.
All that being said, hopefully, Rihanna will close out 2018 with the release of her next album, as she deserves to be one of the reasons why this year has been one of the most monumental for new releases.
