It all leads up to the world premiere of 99 BOMB ASS MOMENTS, an epic 3-hour special (Sunday, October 21 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) that looks back at 99 of the biggest, wildest, and most important moments from REVOLT TV history! State of Music: Sneaker Culture
Unless you live under a massive rock, then you already know by now that sneaker culture is huge in hip hop. These two things always go hand-in-hand. Many hip hop lovers pride themselves in rocking the freshest kicks as soon as they come out. That’s why in 2014, REVOLT had to have a discussion about the impact that hip hop plays on sneaker culture. While speaking to rapper Trinidad James and a couple of sneaker experts; REVOLT spoke in depth about the street lifestyle.
REVOLT TV launches on porch of the late Notorious B.I.G in Bed-Stuy!!!!!!
REVOLT TV’s launch was, without question, one of the greatest moments in recent music history. The world, once again, had a channel that was 100% music-based after many other music channels on television decided to stop showing artists’ videos, and being music-focused. REVOLT TV filled in that much-needed void and it’s been lit every since. Of course, the one and only Puff Daddy — yes Puff Daddy — introduced the world to the new network from the porch of the late Notorious B.I.G’s home in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn! But, what did you expect? There was no other way.
