Fan's self-made Drake documentary ‘Toronto to Houston’ to air this summer

The project’s director shares a trailer for the forthcoming visual.

One massive Drake fan, social media influencer MarQuis Trill, is taking his appreciation for the Toronto rapper to the next level, turning years worth of Drizzy visuals into a self-made documentary titled Toronto to Houston.

MarQuis confirmed via social media that this year marks his fifth year working on the project, adding that the documentary is set to drop this summer once he adds final footage from Drake's forthcoming housewarming party in Toronto.

But DJ EFN has his doubts.

The editor/director of the forthcoming flick also shared a trailer on Instagram, during which he explained how he got started working on such an ambitious undertaking.

"People always ask, 'How did you get started?'" MarQuis writes in the caption. "Well one way was filming @Champagnepapi in Houston, Texas. Every concert, event, club, or appearance that happened in H-Town, I was there."

He also explains how his film focuses on Drake's oft-vocalized appreciation for the city of Houston, adding, "[Drake] credits Houston for the culture and the impact it had on him with launching his career - specifically on May 8, 2009, the show at Warehouse Live."

While the 6 God himself has not yet confirmed whether he was personally involved in the making of the film or if he will endorse it when it is released, MarQuis' excitement about the project is certainly at the forefront, with the director sharing words of encouragement to fellow creatives along with his announcement.
