Joey Bada$$ has been extra generous with his fans lately when it comes to sharing privileged information.

From word getting out that he co-wrote Post Malone's "rockstar" to revealing some plans from Pro Era's 2018 playbook, the Brooklyn rapper has shared yet another interesting tidbit.

During a session on Instagram Live Saturday night (Jan. 6), Joey shared an anecdote he's been keeping close to his heart.

"I'll tell y'all something very real about Kanye," Joey began, responding to a storm of comments from fans. "A drunk man tells no lies... I met Kanye for the first time at Coachella 2016."

From there, Joey explains that Yeezy himself divulged that he inspired him to create his hit single, "Real Friends."

"I'm looking at this n—a like, 'Yeah, I heard 'Real Friends.' Who the f—k ain't heard 'Real Friends?'" the Pro Era MC continues. "He was like, 'You inspired me to make that song.' ... I couldn't believe it. The only thing I was thinking in my head was, 'N—a, why the f—k you ain't put me on that s—t then? I could use the clout, n—a, s—t [laughs] ... Shoutout to Kanye though... I still don't believe it to this day."

Elsewhere throughout the spirited IG Live broadcast, he also reveals that he has collaborations with Pusha T, Dave East, Alchemist, Jorja Smith, Little Simz and Logic warming in the oven. He also says he'd love to work with SZA, Takeoff and Childish Gambino, adding, "I gotta start writing this down."
