The Weeknd teases ‘Black Panther’ contribution with cryptic Instagram post

He is rumored to reunite with Kendrick Lamar for the destined-to-be-epic soundtrack.

The Black Panther soundtrack is gearing up to be one of the most anticipated projects of the year, as further evidenced by the fact that Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg are curating the whole thing.

Since the news was confirmed, after teasing his involvement with the franchise during his video for his DAMN. cut, "LOVE.", a couple of tracks have been released, including one that will double as the first single off Jay Rock's forthcoming third album ("King's Dead" featuring Future and James Blake) and a collaboration with SZA ("All the Stars"). Now, adding to the allure of the project is the fact that the Weeknd will also reportedly be included in the festivities.

The first 24 hours of ticket presales for the movie was the largest Fandango has ever seen for a Marvel film.

While the details are still up for speculation, a source shared with Complex that the Weeknd will be appearing on the album alongside Lamar as well.

Such news would explain why the Weeknd is dropping hints on Instagram, with many fans sounding off in the comments section in excitement.
