New Music: 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s long-lost collaborative track "Pause" surfaces

Fans have been waiting around three years for this one.

21 Savage and Metro Boomin surprised fans Saturday morning (Jan. 13) with the release of their seemingly long-lost collaboration, "Pause."

The rapper and the entrepreneur's birthdays are one day apart, with both celebrating at Rolling Loud.

Back in 2015, Savage teased the track on Instagram, with many assuming it was part of their joint mixtape, Savage Mode. However, the song didn't make the final cut and now years later, WordStarHipHop has curiously got its hands on the audio.

The track makes a nice addition to the weekend soundtrack as Metro Boomin handles the production and 21 Savage delivers his characteristically menacing bars. All in all, another solid collab to add to their collection.
