Music Video Roundup: Kelela, Brockhampton, Daniel Caesar

Nineties aesthetics, nostalgic filters, and nonsense.

Artist // VEVO

Kelela, "LMK"

In the visual for the first single from her long-awaited and forthcoming debut album, a blonde- (then red-) wigged Kelela gives nod to 90s aesthetic performing in neon and narrow halls, followed by trippy camera work. She then recruits friends for an all-white dance party and lets her true self shine.

Brockhampton, "Swamp"

Kevin Abstract and crew play torturers, police officers, and masked men before flying through the air, sitting aside oversized Coca-Cola bottles, and subjecting themselves to other random circumstances.

Daniel Caesar, "We Find Love / Blessed"

A two-fer for singles "We Find Love" and "Blessed," we first see an intimate portrait of a failed relationship (one Caesar is saved from by anonymous furry figures) before he happily moves on with another love--all while under a soft-focused retro-tinged filter.
