On Sunday (August 27), Beyoncé took to Instagram to send her love to her homestate of Texas, where Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc over the weekend, displacing at least 30,000 people and killing 14, according to CNN and Fox News.

The photo read, "Texas[,] you are in my prayers."

Now, the singer has gone further in her aiding efforts.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Beyoncé and her philanthropic platform BeyGOOD are working on a plan to assist the affected residents.

She told the news organization,

"My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help. I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

Last year, BeyGOOD created a fund to benefit the children of Flint, Michigan and raised over $82,000.
