It’s no secret that everyone loves SZA. And if not evident, look no further than the adoration and appreciation she’s received in the form of covers from her fellow artists, like…

21 Savage, who sang “Love Galore” while in bed.

Miguel, who crooned an a capella version of “The Weekend” while strolling a museum.

And, most recently, Khalid, who sang an acoustic medley of both tracks while on a tour bus.

But now the singer is being shown love from a less expected place.

Maroon 5 has recruited SZA for the band’s upcoming single, “What Lovers Do.” Not much is known about the track, but vocal frontman Adam Levine did give fans a peek at its music video when he took to Twitter to share a clip of the duo on set: him, bandaged while laying in a hospital bed; and her, playing his “evil nurse, love of my life.”

The band also shared the single’s artwork, a red-filtered close-up of a lollipop getting licked. And if fans can’t wait until Wednesday (August 30) to hear the track, they can unlock a preview at WhatLovesDo.Maroon5.com by submitting a fill-in-the-blank of the titular phrase.
