Lil Durk and Lil Reese connect on new collaborative EP 'Supa Vultures'

Durk and Reese link up for new project.

Chicago representers Lil Durk and Lil Reese are joining forces for a new project called Supa Vultures.

The EP will feature six songs, including the newly-released “Distance.” The first release from the joint project is about staying clear of fakes, snakes and negative energy, according to Durk, who admits that keeping busy is the best way for him to keep his distance.

The Supa Vultures title stems from a pairing of the two rappers’ gritty, street styles. "The Supa Vultures title is a combination of us -- Reese got his Supa Savage compilation and we always say we vultures,” Durk told Billboard. “We don’t eat each other, we eat other people and keep everything in the family. If you’re with us we call you a vulture and you’re our brother."

Supa Vultures continues a creative working relationship that originates back to Durk and Lil Reese’s teenage years. “We’ve been working with each other since we were 16," said the “Dis Ain't What U Want” spitter.

Supa Vultures is slated to hit retailers on August 11. Swing over to iTunes to pre-order it now.
