Spotlight on REVOLT: Noochie ft. Jazze Pha, "One Day"

A walk-through, and celebration of, his upbringing.

A listen to 21-year-old Noochie quickly reveals an artist who absorbs and emotes the essence of a true musicality. A certified engineer, Noochie is equipped with an ear for sound that transcends the trap-inspired tunes of his peers in today's scene.

With the recent release of his Product of the DMV tape, which is currently available on all digital outlets, the Washington, D.C. native displays an impressive range of lyrical skill and style. The breakout single "Gutta" and most recent club favorite "Hennything" have the industry buzzing about Noochie's bright future in music.

While many artists strive to create a singular sound by which they can define themselves, Noochie rejects that notion all together, hoping that each song is its own experience, while adding to a greater one. The ability to differentiate influences and incorporate classic vibes with progressive songwriting is where Noochie excels most. He pays homage to the artists he looks up to, while adding his own edge to each track.

Noochie's versatility, combined with his fan-first approach, gives way to his amicable character and innate gift of connecting with a diverse array of people. His recent endeavors have included promotional tour stops throughout the Southeast and East Coast, which have set him up for an even bigger year in 2017.

Get to know Noochie in his own words:

My sound in five words or less: Refreshing, Grounded, Inspiring, Timely.

Best part of making this video: Having my siblings finally at a video shoot. They mean a lot to me.

What inspires your art: Just the desire to be great. I love music and I just wanna be considered as someone who came through and made an impact on the culture for the better. I also wanna see my area on display like every other major music city.

Explain the concept of the song in one sentence: No matter what your situation is there is hope for better outcome.

Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat? I use Instagram and Snapchat the most: @NoochieMusic.

What goes down in my DM's? Dudes asking to work on music together, but then disappearing or acting confused once I say something about how much I do features for. I don't understand the confusion; you're reaching out to me because you see progress, you usually pay for services.
