Rich Homie Quan arrested, detained in Georgia

According to TMZ, and the arrest report, the former Rich Gang member was booked for felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute. It’s unclear how much marijuana was in his possession, however in Georgia the amount doesn’t determine a felony charge. Georgia law states that possession with intent to distribute 10 pounds or less of marijuana is a felony punishable by a minimum of 1 and maximum of 10 years imprisonment. Possession of over 10 pounds but less than 2,000 pounds is punishable by a minimum of 5 years and maximum of 30 years imprisonment and a fine of $100,000.

As per the report, if convicted, RHQ faces 30 years in jail.

He is currently being held in jail until a bond hearing on Friday (June 2).

Last month, Rich Homie Quan released his latest mixtape, Back to the Basics, to lauded reviews.
