During the final seconds of "Do Not Disturb," the outro on More Life, Drake bids farewell until 2018. "Taking summer off, 'cause they tell me I need recovery... I'll be back in 2018 to give you the summary," he promises. Well, it didn't take long for Toronto's favorite son to return to the studio and earlier today (May 10), he sure surprised fans with an update from this 'vacation.'
At the very least, the photo and caption could just be Drizzy literally, as mentions, going to visit his good friend and frequent producer Noah "40" Shebib. Heck, maybe he went to go check out if 40's house really had a lake. But at the very most, the dynamic OVO Sound duo could have very well been testing out some new music.
Their recent work, More Life arrived less than a year from the arrival of the 2016 monster album Views. A year prior to that, Drizzy released two projects in 2015 with If You're Reading This It's Too Late and What a Time to Be Alive. And a year before that, as many will remember, the "Fake Love" rapper ran summer 2015 with a series of loosies, including the Grammy Award-nominated "0 to 100." All that said, Drake visiting 40 can almost certainly mean one thing: them boys up to something. As expected, the fans are already anticipating.
Drake could release TML right now in 2017 and change the title, and I'm buying it soon as it's available— Damie Lannister. (@iDntWearCondoms) May 10, 2017
