DJ Khaled is the Nick Fury of rap.
For the last 10 years, the Miami-bred maestro has assembled some of the biggest and boldest collaborations in music memory. Who else could pair together T-Pain, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross and have the end result be a true timeless anthem? Moreover, how else do you get Jay Z, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Betty Wright as guest features on one album? Truth is, Khaled is the epitome of winning and as the Nick Fury of hip-hop, he continues to pull out tricks and the biggest players for every release. On Grateful, his upcoming 10th studio album, we should see nothing different.
Already, the lineup for the new album is stacked. Beyoncé, Jay Z, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Big Sean, and Alicia Keys are already slated to appear. Adding to that already star-studded cast are Nas and Rihanna.
In an interview with Power 106, the key-wielding mogul revealed that Nas and Rihanna have been added as features on Grateful. As far as RiRi's vocals, Khaled advised fans to "be ready." And after providing a 2016 standout with Nas for "Nas Album Done," the We The Best captain had this to say:
"Every time I work with Nas, it's the most incredible experience. It always comes out incredible... I can tell you this. Nas has a message for ya'll, on my album... Right when the record start, he ain't wasting no time."
On Friday (April 28), Khaled will premiere his latest single "I'm the One," which features Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Lil Wayne.
