There are few artists hitting the music festival circuit as often as Solange this coming season—as fans will be able to see her at Philadelphia's Roots Picnic, the UK's Glastonbury, Chicago's Pitchfork, Los Angeles' FYF Fest, New York's Panorama, and Brooklyn's Afropunk—but one thing she won't be doing is embarking upon her own personal tour.
Speaking to Complex UK at Weekend 2 of Coachella, Solange said:
"No, there’s no tour in the works -- right now I have two different shows. I have one that is more a performance piece show that is being performed in museums, and more in the art context. And then I have festival shows. As of now, I've not scheduled a proper tour in the more traditional sense."
Fans shouldn't feel at too much of a loss however, as Solange is already performing ASATT material on stage whenever she can. On Saturday (April 22), while headlining Portland's Soul'd Out festival, she debuted her brand new live show which included "Cranes In The Sky," "Mad," "Don't Touch My Hair," and "F.U.B.U.," along with new choreography and a stage design that recalled her performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
