One of the most collectively ‘woke’ set of siblings in the industry, Jaden and Willow Smith, are forming a band together.

Neither of them are new to music as, just last year, Willow Smith performed at Philadelphia’s annual Roots Picnic and appeared as a guest on both Kid Cudi and Jesse Boykins III’s LPs. We also loved her post-election day ballad, “November 9th.” Jaden, too, celebrated his 18th birthday by dropping the increasingly enlightening “Labor V2” and used his “Fallen” music video to tease an upcoming project, Syre.

Whether those songs we’re one-offs or material belonging to anticipated efforts, the brother and sister are refocusing by starting a rock band.

Jaden took to Twitter yesterday (April 20) to make the announcement, sharing a clip of a song that seemingly featured their vocals over guitar. He also shared that not just Willow would be joining, but his girlfriend as well, actress Odessa Adlon.

Immune to being overworked, Jaden also promised that he’ll be venturing into K-Pop this year, as well as releasing two new music videos in the next few weeks.
