Chief Keef just earned his first two platinum plaques, but there was bad news this weekend as the Chicago rapper was charged with a DUI in Miami Beach.

According to Miami Herald, Keef was driving a green Lamborghini when his passenger got out and gave "a bag with a green leafy substance" to the car behind them. Police pulled them over after seeing the commotion.

Miami Herald reports that Keef was charged with driving under the influence, with a cup of sizzurp - codeine cough syrup and soda - in his car. Marijuana was also found in the vehicle. Keef reportedly told the officer, "when you find weed in my urine, I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card."

In late March, Keef's two hits from 2012, "Love Sosa" and "I Don't Like," both reached the 1,000,000 mark to go platinum. He's dealt with multiple arrests over the years, and he released his latest mixtape Two Zero One Seven in January.
