Gucci Mane is officially an author now.

Back in September, it was announced that Gucci Mane had struck a book deal with publishing house Simon & Schuster for an upcoming memoir about his life. Fast forward to today (March 20), the Atlanta rapper has unveiled more details for his first book, “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane.”

“I’m an author now,” he tweeted in a post revealing the book’s title and cover. With the help of writer Neil Martinez-Belkin, Guwop’s autobiography will hit shelves on September 19. It’s available for pre-order now.

In a statement for the upcoming release, publisher Simon & Schuster stated the following: “In his extraordinary autobiography, the legend takes us to his roots in Alabama, the streets of East Atlanta, the trap house, and the studio where he found his voice as a peerless rapper. He reflects on his inimitable career and in the process confronts his dark past—years behind bars, the murder charge, drug addiction, career highs and lows—the making of a trap god. It is one of the greatest comeback stories in the history of music.”
