Lil Wayne and Drake are running mates as Young Money titans, but they're also top competition for one another. Much like their co-headlining 2014 summer tour, which was a see-saw of a battle that saw each rapper perform their biggest hits, the Billboard Hot 100 is now host of the Drake vs. Lil Wayne show as the pair continuously go neck and neck fighting for lead on the charts.

In December, Drake tied Lil Wayne's record for most Hot 100 songs among soloists after his featured spot on Gucci Mane's "Both" debuted at No. 41 on the Billboard chart marking his 132nd single to reach the tally. Last week, Weezy pulled a move like the New England Patriots did last night (February 7) and outpaced his protege by nabbing his 133rd entry, thanks a feature on Wale's "Running Back." Now with 133 Hot 100 entries, Wayne surges ahead Drake's 132 visits.

Young Money's 2017 goals: Albums from Drake and Nicki Minaj, three from Lil Wayne

Interestingly enough, the competitive race between these two will go on for a long time. Looking at the stats, the two have already surpassed Elvis Presley (108), James Brown (91), and Jay Z (86) who hold the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively. So with Carter V, Velvet, More Life and more music set to arrive from the camp — especially after this reunion — expect that number to rise like their respective stream counts.

Above the duo are only the Glee cast, who boasts more Hot 100 appearances than Lil Wayne and Drake with 207.
