Watch: The Year In Social Justice

From Black Lives Matter to the rise of neo-Nazis, from #MeToo to Meek Mill, this show looks at the causes and effects of a monumental year in the social justice movement (and Donald Trump).

At REVOLT News it is our mission to be with you every step of the way in the conversation around justice, and in this half-hour show, we recap every step that brought us to this critical moment, reviewing the year that was, and teeing us up for all that 2018 has in store. From Black Lives Matter to a new rise in neo-Naziism, from gun control to criminal justice reform, from #MeToo to Meek Mill and in towns across the country from Sutherland, TX to Las Vegas to Charlottesville, South Carolina, this was a monumental year in activism on the back of explosive moments that took their charge from an unpredictable and highly charged political environment, set by an unpredictable and highly mercurial President in Trump. These are the stories that shook our year, and here we examine how they will affect what's next.

This year saw diverse voices stand up for their beliefs, offering historic markers of this time, and paving the way for a charged, vibrant, and hopefully redemptive 2018. However it goes down, REVOLT will be with you to help give life to all of the most important issues in the world of justice and politics. Thanks for joining us this year, and I'm looking forward to helping shine the light all through the next. Team Love, eternal.
