Music Video Roundup: Lil Uzi Vert x Steve Aoki, Rapsody, Lil Peep

Through the good times and the bad.

Lil Uzi Vert x Steve Aoki, "Smoke My Dope"

Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Aoki were tapped to partake in a high-profile collaboration to close the year out, with the fruits of their labor being featured as part of Netflix's star-studded Bright soundtrack. For the accompanying lyric video, the pair star as animated versions of themselves, casually posing in front of a strip mall.

Rapsody, "Sassy"

Rapsody, who recently garnered her first-ever Grammy nominations for her latest album, Laila's Wisdom, has long been reputed as a spitfire MC, but her latest music video for "Sassy" is a timely reminder not to put her in a box. For the new visual offering, Rapsody and her friends make their way to a party in a convertible, with the feel-good video matching the vibe of the track perfectly.

Lil Peep, "Save That S—t"

Lil Peep's mom is working to keep her late son's legacy alive, sharing his first posthumous release with fans. The rapper, who tragically lost his life at the age of 21 last month due to an overdose, has some music stored in the vault, with his mother releasing the music video for his track, "Save That S—t," which appears on his debut album, Come Over When You're Sober (Part One).

"It's been a hard time for all of us who loved Gus and we are going through the process of coming to terms with our loss," Lil Peep's mother, Liza Womack, said in a statement. "Peep would have wanted his collaborators to move forward with his plan for the release of music and visuals in 2018 as he had originally intended. So today, we are starting that process by releasing the video for 'Save That S—t.'"

The visual opens with a tribute to the fallen rapper and features archive footage of Lil Peep performing, with a woman waiting for Lil Peep to text her back being somberly juxtaposed into the clip as well.
