The Detroit rapper, who is gearing up to break his four-year hiatus in between albums this Friday (Dec. 15), has been expertly rolling out his highly anticipated ninth studio project, Revival. Unfortunately, there has been a bit of a change in plans, with the album leaking online two days before its long-awaited release.
While fans have been speculative since learning of the album's curious track listing, one that is relatively heavy on the R&B and pop-leaning collaborations, reactions to the leaked material are just as torn.
Regardless of whether or not you were hoping for a double album—a theory that since has been debunked by Slaughterhouse's KXNG Crooked—or you are totally hype over Beyoncé's involvement with the veteran rapper, it's clear that Em's Revival has got everyone talking. Not only that, but that there are a lot of unrealistic expectations thrown in the mix as well.
Now that the music has arrived, with some Eminem stans waiting for the official release date to digest their first listens, the season for passionate commentary has officially opened, with fans taking to Twitter to discuss the 45-year-old's latest material. May the debates begin.

It’s time for Eminem to gracefully retire. I’m not wasting my precious time listening to his music in 2017— Welcome to the True Man’s World (@FreeWenger) December 14, 2017
Not sure if its real or not but this pic of Eminem's Revival is making its rounds online. If its real, I think it will leak soon. pic.twitter.com/b8Aox40dWV— Eminem & Shady News (@ShadyFansite) December 12, 2017
I told myself to resist the #revival leak but I would like to hear your opinion. Any "intouchable" beats? (I didn't like those) A dark tone? Personal songs? Calm songs? Straight bars? Tell me:) thanks #stan— Luke Mayson (@perceptionnnnn) December 13, 2017
So all the Eminem haters are just vanished after Revival's leak? Lmao where yall at bruh?— wub (@maskedkey) December 13, 2017

Eminem in 2017 is the equivalent of Kobe Bryant in his final season. You tune in out of respect and stomach the trash performance because this person's gift once played a big part in your life.— . (@CAWBBBB) December 14, 2017
Eminem just named-checked Mitch McConnell, Rachel Dolezal, Kellyanne Conway, R Kelly and his own farts in one of his new songs.— Corbin Reiff (@CorbinReiff) December 13, 2017
I dunno y'all...
joke's gonna be on y'all when the Eminem snippet with the Migos flow is just a set up for a follow up concept album about how mumble rap took over his brain— Robert Hoary (@HaroldBingo) December 13, 2017
