Tory Lanez is ready to kick his sophomore album into gear. Aside from a forthcoming single with Future ("Real Things") and a slew of already released teasers ("Shooters," "Skrt Skrt"), the Toronto star has revealed the title for his latest chapter. A year removed from his I Told You era, Tory Lanez preps Memories Don't Die as the follow-up.
Just hours before his Future-assisted single is set to premiere, the singer took to Twitter to announce the new album title. This is the third project released from Lanez this year. On New Years Day, he dropped the mixtapes Chixtape 4 and the The New Toronto 2.
As for what to expect from the new release, Lanez previously revealed that the new album won't feature any samples or remakes. Where I Told You featured records like the Brownstone-sampling "Say It," the singer is set to steer away from interpolating classics. "Enjoy the remixes and freestyles now," he wrote in an Instagram post a few months back. "[This] album has no samples/ Remakes / or remixes... And all my singles are ORIGINAL this time around."
