XXXTentacion's domestic violence trial officially rescheduled

The Floridian rapper will head to court later this year.

XXXTentacion's domestic violence trial has been scheduled, according to Pitchfork.

Last week, it was reported that the legal proceeding (originally set for today, October 5) was postponed. It was suggested by a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade state attorney's office that the delay was due to "the defense counsel."

However, the rapper is now scheduled to appear in court on December 11 in a Miami courthouse.

Last year, XXXTentacion was charged with domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and witness-tampering. If convicted on all counts, the 19-year-old, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, would face 30 years in total. His trial was set to begin October 5.

XXX has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Apparently XXXTentacion's fans feel just as strongly as he does about Drake stealing the Florida rapper's flow.
