Spotlight on REVOLT: Devvon Terrell, "Temperature"

A close-up on a couple's most intimate moments.

Good music arguably comes from a place that is insightful, meaningful, and modern. This is where the "Living Weirdo" known as Devvon Terrell lives. Hailing from Brooklyn, N.Y., the singer has his own sound that is a testament to his generation.

Terrell took the internet by storm by showcasing his talent on various remixes and covers on YouTube that collectively generated over a 100 million views. On Christmas Day 2015, he dropped an album, Coast 2 Coast, with Futuristic that debuted at No.12 on Hip-Hop Billboard chart. This led to him supporting Futuristic on the Mike Stud 'Back 2 You' tour.

2017 is shaping up to be Devvon's breakout year with a new album Weird Nights slated for October.

Get to know Devvon in his own words:

My sound in five words or less: 'Kid picked last for basketball.'

Best part of making this video: Seeing the vision come to life after personally shooting, directing, and editing the video myself [laughs].

What inspires your art: Honestly, life and personal experiences.

Explain the concept of the song in one sentence: It's the dynamic between a man and woman not being honest with each.

Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat? I prefer Snapchat (@devvonterrell) because something about it is so personal and I like that it's still chronological.

What goes down in my DMs: My DMs are a very dark place where people ask me for money, "send nudes," and Soundcloud links [laughs].
