Trick Daddy is elated to see major events like the REVOLT Music Conference and BET Hip-Hop Awards come to the city he helped put (and keep) on the map in hip-hop.

“It’s about time,” T-Double-D said last week on the green carpet of the BET Hip-Hop awards. “Y’all can go ahead and move your big companies down here. We gonna make space for ya.”

Trick was also excited that DJ Khaled was hosting the awards show. Trick performed with Khaled, Ross, T-Pain, and Plies to start the night off.

“That’s my brother. Khaled is a DJ/producer on a whole ‘nother level,” the mic legend noted. “He does a lot of things other people couldn’t do.”

However, Trick’s new mission is to do what he did before: get his close friend Trina to get really raunchy. The pair are currently recording a joint LP called TNT.

“The ‘TNT’ album is coming out swell,” Trick said. “I just gotta get Trina naked again on the album. She growing up too fast for me. I’ll never grow up. I’m still rocking Dickies and the Clarks.”

You can get Trina’s take on ‘TNT’ tonight during an encore airing of her episode of Drink Champs. The sexy MC tells hosts N.O.R.E and DJ EFN about the recording process of the album, why she’s wanted to rap with all the top female rappers on her solo LPs, and why unity amongst the ladies is key.
