Hate him or love him, one thing’s for certain: whenever Eminem grabs the mic, everyone listens. And at tonight’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, he’ll apparently be doing what he does best: the much-lauded BET Cypher.

In a new Instagram post, DJ Khaled announced a “#MajorVerseAlert:” that Eminem will return to the Bet Hip-Hop Awards with a verse in the cypher.

The verse may be a formal announcement to rumors that circulated this week, which said that Em would be releasing a new solo album – his first since 2013’s Grammy-winning The Marshall Mathers LP 2 – on Nov. 17.

Eminem dropped a freestyle called “Campaign Speech” in late 2016, with promises that he was working on an album. Since then, bits of info have slowly leaked about the album: that Mr. Porter and Dr. Dre are contributing production, and that 2 Chainz may surprisingly appear on the record.

But for now, we can only anxiously await tonight’s verse. Eminem doesn’t rock at the BET Hip-Hop Awards very often, but he always delivers. In 2009, he rhymed alongside Mos Def and Black Thought for arguably the greatest BET cypher ever. Two years later in 2011, he returned with Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf for a Shady 2.0 Cypher. Tune in tonight at 8 p.m. to see what Em has to say in 2017.
