It's only four days into the new year and Lil Wayne is already setting the groundwork to stay busy. Not only did he debut a new song with Wale live on television, but he also announced his foray into sports management.
Now, it appears he's keeping good on the promise he made to fans back in November: that a project titled "Funeral is coming soon."
After a rough 2016 marred by a battle with Birdman, Wayne looks like he's getting back to work as last night (January 3), he posted a photo to Facebook seemingly teasing a trio of upcoming efforts.
Sharing a picture of himself with 2 Chainz, Gudda Gudda and others, Weezy captioned: "CV. Funeral. D6. Young Money," a wording that gave nod to both his long-awaited studio album Tha Carter V and his mixtape Dedication 6.
So maybe 2017 belongs to Wayne instead.
