10 years ago today, we got a hint at her innovation. Watch.

Over the last few years, Beyoncé has shocked fans, changed the game, and twirled on her haters with two trendsetting surprise album releases. And while we're all still feeling the effects of having our wigs snatched by 2013's self-titled LP Beyoncé and this year's Lemonade, let's not forget that her sophomore effort B'Day was her real first visual album.

Released 10 years ago today to coincide with the Queen Bey's 25th birthday, we should've known then when she created full-blown, uniquely stylized music videos for every.single.track.—something we hadn't seen before—that it was just the beginning of her still innovative solo career.
