So our favorite St. Lunatic is in some major trouble.
According to TMZ, Nelly owes the IRS $2,412,283 in federal taxes (and $149,511 in state). If this was any other time in history, it'd be unlikely that fans could help Nelly with this stressful burden, but it's 2016 and and the internet is magical.
So what have the masses done to honor the man who blessed us with such hits as "Country Grammar," "Ride With Me," "Dilemma," "Shake Ya Tailfeather, " and "Grillz"?
Well, SPIN did the math and discovered that fans would have to stream Nelly songs on Spotify somewhere between 287,176,547 and 402,880,500 times (because "per stream" payouts to artists land between $0.006 and $0.0084) to help relieve him of these tax troubles.
And Twitter came through. Here are the best attempts to #SaveNelly:

But not everyone was down with showing support; a few are still in their feelings about his "All Lives Matter" beliefs.
