How Young Thug's fiancée Jerrika Karlae really reacted to his album cover

Here's how she felt about that lavender skirt.

Derek Reed // REVOLT

By now, you've likely seen the controversial album cover for Young Thug's new album, No, My Name is Jeffery. Featuring the rapper wearing a ruffled and layered lavender skirt, the visual naturally sent the internet into overdrive and users spent the next few hours after its reveal dishing out slander, support, and jokes.

But there's only one reaction that probably mattered to Thugger. And that's the one of his fiancée, Jerrika Karlae.

The swimwear designer spoke to REVOLT about Young Thug's decision, style, and sexuality, and her shock and support. Read an excerpt and watch the full interview below!

"So many people confused it for, like, 'Oh, he's gay' or 'he's trolling for attention,' but…he doesn't believe in fashion, like, 'That's a woman's jacket'—he really doesn't believe that. He likes what he likes and it has nothing to do with his sexuality at all."

Look out for REVOLT's full interview with Jerrika on her Karlae Swimwear line coming soon.
