Kodak Black is accused of sexual battery stemming from an alleged incident at a South Carolina hotel earlier this year.
The 19-year-old rapper was expected to be released from prison last week after he was arrested in April for a slew of charges that ranged from from robbery, false imprisonment to fleeing a law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by a delinquent — all carrying a maximum sentence of 55 years. A judge offered him one year of house arrest and five years of probation. However, those were changed after authorities discovered two active warrants for Pompano Beach native's arrest. Few details about those warrants were disclosed, besides the fact that they were issued out of St. Lucie County in Florida and Florence, South Carolina.
Now, South Carolina authorities have released details involving the incident that allegedly took place in the Florence County. As reported by Sun Sentinel, authorities allege that on February 7, the rapper, born Dieuson Octave, "engaged in the sexual battery of the victim at a hotel located at 2120 West Lucas Street, Florence, SC."
Black has been locked up for four months now. He is expected to soon be transported Florence County for arraignment. Stay tuned to REVOLT for more updates.
